Jason Montague: In a few weeks…

It’s hard to believe, but we are less than two weeks away from christening the world’s most luxurious ship, Seven Seas Explorer®, and after years of planning, she is nearly completed.

Seven Seas Explorer® will bring elegance and glamour to the Mediterranean, where she begins her inaugural season, offering exquisite dining options that rival those of the finest restaurants ashore. We will debut our first Pan-Asian restaurant, Pacific Rim, as well as our next evolution of French cuisine in Chartreuse. And, for the first time in our fleet, she will offer hands-on cooking classes at the Culinary Arts Kitchen.

As you can imagine, we at Regent Seven Seas Cruises are ecstatic. The last time we christened a ship was over a decade ago, when WiFi at sea was completely avant-garde, when multiple specialty dining venues were scarce, and when there were only two all-suite, all-balcony ships in the world (…and they were ours). We were ahead of our time then and, with the introduction of our newest ship, we will continue to be industry innovators, setting the new standard in luxury travel.

I hope you will join us to witness, albeit virtually, the moment when Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco christens our beloved Seven Seas Explorer® at the much-anticipated inauguration of the world’s most luxurious ship. Please visit ExplorerChristening.com on July 13, 2016 at 3 PM (EST) to watch this historic moment live from your tablet or computer.

See you in a few weeks.

We are eager to sail on the Explorer in November from Jerusalem. The kinks (if any) should be
    worked out by then!
