Jason Montague: One year from today…

Exactly one year from today’s date we will take delivery of the world’s most luxurious ship ever built, Seven Seas Explorer®.

Up to this moment, we have revealed her exterior rendering, as well as the lavish designs of each of her 375 suites, including the nearly 4,000-square-foot Regent Suite, and her elegant bars and lounges. Among the highlights of her public spaces, we have also shared that Seven Seas Explorer® will feature three specialty restaurants, including the French gourmet Chartreuse, the Asian fusion Pacific Rim and our signature steakhouse Prime 7. And she will boast our first ever cooking school at sea with the introduction of the Culinary Arts Kitchen, as well as an infinity plunge pool as part of the Canyon Ranch SpaClub®.

As our team continues to work tirelessly on every detail of our fourth all-suite ship, I want to take a moment to acknowledge, praise and thank the dozens of men and women, from designers to engineers, whose talent, innovation, exquisite taste and hard work are evident throughout the remarkable renderings of our newest ship.

In particular, Robin Lindsay, our Executive Vice President of Vessel Operations and Franco Semeraro, our Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations are working day and night and side by side with the architects, contractors and the Fincantieri shipyard to bring our incredible ship to life. In the coming months, Robin and Franco will be updating us on the progress of Seven Seas Explorer® through this blog, so I urge you to check back often so that you don’t miss a single detail.

There is so much more we have planned to share with you over the next 365 days, from the magnificent art collection on board to the announcement of who will hold the coveted title of Godmother of the most luxurious cruise ship ever built.

As you can imagine, this is an exciting time for all of us. We are all anxiously awaiting her arrival, as I’m sure you are too. With the introduction of Seven Seas Explorer®, we are setting the new standard for luxury, and when we welcome you aboard in the summer of 2016, I am certain that she will exceed your every expectation.

Let the countdown begin.
