Jason Montague: The time has come to Navigate the World

Throughout our lives and careers we earn a collection of titles and designations. Yet, there is one accolade that those of us who are passionate about exploration hold most dear and that is, of course, the title of WORLD TRAVELER.

As true world travelers, we are constantly in search for our next great journey, which is why I take great pleasure in working with our executive team to create exceptional itineraries for our esteemed guests. In our last planning meeting, something exciting happened. We set out to bring back our signature World Cruise, and I believe this one is the best one yet.

Today we officially began taking reservations for Navigate the World, our 128-night voyage that will circumnavigate the globe.

Setting sail on January 5, 2017, beginning and ending in Miami, guests will journey to 31 countries, call on 62 distinct ports and have the opportunity to explore 29 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Best of all, this voyage will take place aboard our most intimate and beloved ship, Seven Seas Navigator®. With space for a mere 490 guests, she is the perfect ship to embark upon a voyage of this magnitude, as she’s just the right fit to dock and anchor at the world’s most unique destinations, from the islands of Hawaii to the metropolis of Sydney and from the glimmering shrines of Yangon to the pink sands of Bermuda.

Among the many preparations we have made for this incredible voyage, from organizing an elegant Pre-Cruise Gala Event at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami to selecting the officers and crew that will steer guests across the world’s oceans, we have also designed three exclusive shoreside events that are truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences: A sumptuous lunch at Secret Island near Honolulu; colorful entertainment under the Saharan sky in Dubai, and a gourmet dinner at the famous brasserie-style restaurant Café de Paris in Monte Carlo. In addition, guests aboard this itinerary will join an elite group of circumnavigators that have retraced the routes of the great explorers. And once their voyage is complete, they will have cruised 2 oceans and 10 seas for a total of 35,625 nautical miles.

Like many of our esteemed past guests, we at Regent Seven Seas Cruises® have been waiting for this day for quite some time – six years to be exact – as we mark the return of our signature World Cruise. Yet, only 490 guests will have the opportunity add the title of 2017 WORLD CIRCUMNAVIGATOR to their name.

Will you be among them?
