Today we opened reservations for our 2014-2015 Winter Collection and the response has been sensational. This new collection features cruises to Asia, Africa, South America, South Pacific, Caribbean, Europe and Alaska taking place from November 2014 through May 2015.

The itinerary planning team worked to create a variety of voyages and unique destinations that are sure to please even our most seasoned travelers. In fact, the new Winter Collection features:

  • 48 new itineraries
  • 19 Extended Voyages
  • 200+ destinations
  • 75 countries
  • 23 new destinations
  • Plus, complimentary land programs in Africa and Asia
  • FREE Wi-Fi for guests booked in concierge-level suites and higher

As we offer such an incredible range of voyages, I’m often asked which I would choose. Although it’s impossible for me to select just one, I will tell you about a few that especially caught my eye from our new collection.

Seven Seas Voyager® will call on an array of new ports in Africa and Asia. I’m especially excited about the 28-night Cape Town to Singapore itinerary with calls in 6 new ports, including Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth, Maputo, Nosy Be/ Nosy Komba, Zanzibar and Langkawi. Then, in the month May 2015, she arrives in the Mediterranean for a 20-night journey from Dubai to Barcelona and the ports are spectacular, including Fujairah, Muscat, Salalah, Petra, Jerusalem, Rhodes, Sicily and Palma de Mallorca.

I am thrilled that Seven Seas Mariner® will explore the South Pacific for the first time in five years. She will leave Miami on a 34-night voyage to Papeete, discovering new ports along the way such as Corinto, Nawiliwili (Kauai), Kahului (Maui), Nuku Hiva (Marquesas) and Fakarava. Then, from March 2015 to mid-April 2015, she explores South America with three exciting itineraries. Of particular interest is the 20-night itinerary from Lima, Peru to Buenos Aires, Argentina, as she makes her way to some of South America’s most beautiful places, like Valparaíso, Punta Arenas and Montevideo.

Seven Seas Navigator® will offer more choice in the Caribbean than ever before. She starts the season with 16 Miami round trip sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. From ecotourism adventures in Belize City to the ultra-chic vibe of St. Barts, guests will be charmed and captivated by island life. I’m especially drawn by the pink beaches of Bermuda. With an overnight in Hamilton, I think the 17-night Western Caribbean & Bermuda itinerary is not to be missed. For those that prefer cooler weather, the ship returns to Alaska in May 2015 with two seven and one nine- and one 14-night itinerary.

Those are just a few of my favorites. Please take a few moments to view our 2014/2015 Winter Collection. Please share with us your favorite itinerary as we would love to hear from you – leave a comment below.

We’re booked on Papeete-Papeete in Dec 2014. When will pre-cruise options and excursions be made available?

    1. Hi Colleen – Shore excursions are available for reservation depending on the category you have booked–for deluxe suites reservations will open at 180 days prior to sailing, concierge suites and higher open at 240 days prior to sailing. As for land programs, they are usually available between 150 and 120 days prior to sailing, occasionally a bit sooner. Please feel free to call us at (877) 505-5370 or contact your travel agent with any additional questions!
