For over 20 years, we have delivered unparalleled vacation experiences to our guests and I’m honored to have been there every step of the way. Your patronage and feedback is the inspiration behind everything we do. Through listening to our loyal following of past guests, we have evolved into the cruise line that delivers the most inclusive luxury experience in the world.

When our guests highlighted the importance and convenience of including unlimited shore excursions in our offering in 2009 we moved quickly on what has proven to be a terrific idea and well-received by our guests. More recently, many of you have told us that having access to the internet at optimal speeds is a must.

That’s why we are thrilled to share with you today two new product enhancements in our quest to continuously evolve our award-winning product offering.

Beginning with our Winter 2014-2015 sailings that launch October 9th, we will be offering up to 500 minutes of FREE Wi-Fi to guests in Concierge Level suites and higher. This enhancement to our product offering is a natural evolution for our all-inclusive brand which already includes flights, ground transfers, unlimited shore excursions, premium spirits and fine wines, and gratuities.

FREE Wi-Fi begins with the following 2014-2015 Winter voyages: Seven Seas Voyager’s “Legendary Sands” October 31, 2014 sailing from Istanbul to Dubai; Seven Seas Mariner’s “Coast to Coast” November 3, 2014 sailing from Miami to Los Angeles; and Seven Seas Navigator’s “Exotic Explorations” November 6, 2014 sailing roundtrip Miami.

wifi, internetIn order to provide you with optimal speeds at sea, we are pleased to announce that we are making a multi-million dollar investment to upgrade our fleet’s onboard Internet offering. This major initiative, which will be completed by year-end, includes:

  • Doubling the satellite bandwidth to provide considerable improvements in both the quality and speed of our guest’s online experience.
  • Expanding the Wi-Fi signal’s range, making Wi-Fi available throughout the entirety of the ships including all suites, public rooms and outdoor decks.
  • Replacing all onboard hardware such as the modems, routers and bandwidth compression equipment with advanced technology.

This upgrade to our onboard Internet capabilities will significantly enhance the Internet experience for all of our guests.

  1. Thanks for the Internet upgrades. We have booked two cruises for 2014 and it will certainly make our contact to our family and friends much much enjoyable. We have found from cruising with others since our first cruise on the Norway converted from the France you are the best.
